New in May 2026, Creekview Riding Center has joined up with the Equine Liberty Organization (ELO) to offer a unique liberty club experience - right here in NE Wisconsin!
The Equine Liberty Organization (ELO) connects equestrians worldwide through liberty horsemanship, promoting horse welfare, education, and a deep human-horse partnership.
Liberty training focuses on developing communication, trust, and willing cooperation without relying on ropes, halters, or tack. At CRC, we believe these principles create a strong foundation for success in any discipline and help horses and humans enjoy the training journey together.
Through clinics, practice days, virtual events, and local liberty shows, the CRC ELO Academy provides opportunities to learn new skills, gain confidence, and connect with like-minded horse owners. Members also enjoy access to our private Facebook community, where they can share successes, ask questions, discuss challenges, and stay informed about upcoming events.
Our CRC ELO Academy is your local link to the national level ELO organization and participants may become eligible for special ELO year-end awards.

Our ELO shows will use the patterns listed on the ELO website:

Each pattern has a "Training Level" option that can be done online.
PATTERN SCORING
Classes & patterns will be judged on a percentage basis regarding
- Maneuvers 40% (technical)
- Foundational 60% (non-technical which includes relationship & connection, horsemanship skills, cheerfulness, and degree of difficulty).
- The 40% Maneuver score and the 60% Foundational score for the pattern or freestyle will be combined for a total percentage score.
STAR SYSTEM
Ratings
- 0 Stars - The maneuver in the pattern is missed, or the wrong maneuver was done
- 1 Star - Developing. New at learning the skill, the effort needs some guidance Potential for Progress
- 2 Stars - Effort displayed, ability to recover from mistakes
- 3 Stars - Meets Expectations. Skill done correctly, horse and handler comfortable with the task.
- 4 Stars - Exceeds Expectations. Skill done with great precision & confidence
- 5 Stars - Super Star Effort. Incredible talent, horse and handler move as one
